(AIAUAI) The theory of sight-singing with ear training

(Or use video and DVDs Disc)

(This examination can use piano or other instrument or sight-singing)

Note:


1. Examination use one-by-one that one time completed by scene. (Limited time: Elementary is 50 minutes, Intermediate is 60 minutes, Advance is 80 minutes) There must be assistant teacher’s panel present within continuous view can be viewed from different angles, clear sound and view, responses must be concise, include the argument. Only use one or two staff pages of paper, (Non western musical instrument and vocal music examinee can use other notation) Use pen or blue pen or black color ink, handwriting must be neat and clear.


2. Assistant teacher read aloud (include question’s No or exam topic) can be oral or play on piano by assistant teacher. Each question can be repeat once. Self selected musical pieces can be selected every countries’ relevant teaching material by publish issue. Musical pieces at the appropriate level can be selected musical pieces must be examined by the judges.


3. All of hear-sing and sight-sing can use Fixed-do or movable-do‘s system etc. (Can use pitch a1 for guide)


4. Basic distinguish and Term distinguish (mark) can each part select eight questions (or up) by assistant teacher and responses by examinee. Closed book exam questions cannot be re-selected on else the exam is deemed void questions are chosen one by one and responses are given one by one and this process continues for the duration of the exam, if experiencing difficulty answering a question, skip it.


5. If responses eight questions may get Qualified (C), twelve questions may get Good (B), up to fifteen may get Excellent (A).


6. Before beginning exam, examinee should show blank sheet of paper (face lenses). Then when complete finish of responses. Please show this sheet again (face lenses) and prove with sign by assistant teacher.


7.Increase and select topic (questions) will add to score for final score. Otherwise will help to make up till abandon questions, topic can be self-select or created as long as they are the same level and will may receive the same score. 1.Single tone listening: in C major (within one octave descending scale) Scale recognition: Natural a minor (Complete of rising and descending scale) (Range:c'-c²)

2.Select sight-singing: Self select one to two piece melodies (include 2/4, 4/4 simple meters, without sharp and flat key signature)

3.Basic distinguish

(1)Writing of equivalent different notes, or rest notes

(2)Notes the composition of the explanation

(3)Writing of whole note and half note
